Deuxmensions Dance Theatre & School

Be dazzled by students ages 8 to 17 from Deuxmensions Dance Theatre & School in St. Louis Park who will perform with us this summer with pieces choreographed by Kirstin Doyle and Michelle Doyle.

Since 2000, Deuxmensions Dance Theatre & School, under the direction of Michelle and Kirstin, has been providing a well-rounded dance education that helps develop the potential, creativity and confidence of each of our students as they grow and learn in the world of dance.

Our curriculum offers progressive training in Classical Ballet, Pointe, Modern/Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theater and Tap techniques for ages 3 through adults. We believe that training dancers involves teaching proper technique and placement, as well as instilling self-confidence and a love of the art form. DDTS is a non-competition school. We see dance as an art form for everyone to enjoy, not a sport in which students must compete to “excel.”

Our school is also home to a Youth Performance Company, a semi-professional performance company made up of dancers ages 13-18.

Dancing Divas

Kick up your heels with Diane Horner, professional dance instructor, who will lead audience dances. The Dancing Divas dance troupe will join in and entertain with their moves!

Diane has been dancing/performing since the age of two and has been teaching dance in the area since 1978. As an independent dance instructor she teaches out of both Deuxmensions Dance and Platinum Dance where she teaches line dance and dance exercise for women. During the line dance craze in the 1990s, over 2 million of her dance instructional videos were distributed by Quality Video. She leads The Dancing Divas who have performed at the Fringe Festival, Lake Normandale Park, Penn Fest, Do Town Events, and the City of Bloomington Farmer's Markets. She also teaches the Friendship Village Line Dancers.
