Flute Cocktail is a 20 member group under the direction of
Cindy Farrell, Founder/Director
Jo Krueger, Co-Director

We are a group of professional and amateur flutists coming from a variety of backgrounds who all share a love for our instrument and a desire to grow and learn together. This translates into varied and dynamic performances by a group that is passionately dedicated to communicating its enthusiasm for music and for the flute with its listeners.
A flute choir with pizzazz based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

For Summer of 2017 Flute Cocktail was joined by six exceptional high school students for summer internships. These students are (or were) private students taught by members of Flute Cocktail. The students perform with us at public and private settings during the summer. Thanks to Hazel Banisky (9th grade, Hopkins West Junior High, student of Sharon Kapeluck), Zoe Cheung (senior, Edina High School, student of Cindy Farrell), Marie Finch Koinuma (8th grade, student of Cindy Farrell), Evyn Hausman (senior, Edina High School, student of Cindy Farrell), Clare McKim (8th grade, Hopkins North Junior High, student of Sharon Kapeluck), and Ella Weinbeck (junior, Orono High School, student of Deb Metz) for their time and talent in 2017! Flute Cocktail will continue the program of inviting students to intern with us during the summer of 2018!

Flute Cocktail is scheduling performances for Summer 2018. Our new program is "Dancin' with the Flutes" and promises to be a unique collaboration between our musicians and local dancers. In addition to dance performaces and demonstrations there will be plenty of opportunities for our audience to jump in and be part of the fun, as well as to play along with percussion. We also offer a "spirited" Gospel program (February-October) for settings where a dance area is not available.
